IMF MD Kristalina Georgieva names Ceda Ogada as Secretary of the Fund and Secretary’s Department Director

Kenyan lawyer Ceda Ogada named as the new IMF Secretary of Funds and the Director of the Secretary’s Department.


IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said that Ogada is expected to begin his work in that capacity on September 1, 2020.


Lawyer Ogada joined the IMF’s Legal Department in 1999 and rose through the ranks to become Deputy General Counsel in 2014.
