Football Kenya Federation (FKF) says Kenya Premier League to be renamed BetKing Premier League from Sportpesa Premier League as stated by FKF President Nick Mwendwa.


BetKing, a gaming company founded in Nigeria, has secured the title rights of the top-tier league that will now be renamed the BetKing Premier League.

FKF President Nick Mwendwa shared the changes on his Twitter account.


BetKing will sponsor the league at a cost of  Sh1.2billion for the next five years with each top club set to get a grant of Sh8million per year.
